One year ago, I was at a complete crossroads on If I had made one of the biggest mistakes of my life to pursue full-time Entrepreneurship. @launchyourgoldacademy + @walkbyfaithconference had completed but my bank account/bills and the reality of life quickly settled in.

Chasing my dreams didn’t convert as fast as I would have liked financially. In fact, the narrative in Entrepreneurship is that this is the biggest pay off when it works. You hear it from all your major influencers — how they made their first million… but you never hear their stories when they have bill collectors calling their phone or their rent is past due. That became my reality even though I felt my purpose had been completely fulfilled for this phase of my business and ministry.

Failing financially turned into fighting depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and overall feeling stuck that I was a complete failure. I quit my job to pursue all my passions and dreams just to end up divorced, in a pandemic, reaching thousands of people on social media but completely confused on if I made the right choice to quit my job and follow my dreams.

Let’s be clear I was the “Walk By Faith” girl. I was very sound and secure on what my mission was on earth but I couldn’t understand how when I actually went after my dreams the first phase was failure.

Over this week I want to explain through a series of posts that I truly believe #MyFaithFailedMe but it was the most beautiful experience that I needed to understand that God is who he says he is even when your situation looks nothing like what you pictured it.

I want to explain some of the things I did wrong in business and also what happens when you truly give God your yes all for hell to break loose immediately following. I don’t aspire to be known for my successes but also for my failures in hopes that it helps someone else even just one person.

So stay tuned as I peel back the layers of what really happens when you take big risks. I pray that it encourages you and brings to light that it’s okay for things not to go exactly as planned and that failure doesn’t define you… it is a true bridge to prune you into purpose.
